Fit the collar
Two fingers should slide under the strap. Fits necks from 8 to 26 in.

01Does this need a subscription or SIM card?
No. The ZF500V uses standalone GPS, so there is no monthly fee, no SIM card and no paywalled app features.
02Is the no-shock version enough to train my dog?
For most dogs, yes. The beep gives an early warning about 3 m before the boundary and the vibration follows only if the dog keeps going. Consistent short training sessions matter far more than the strength of the correction.
03How long does the battery last?
The 1000 mAh battery charges in about 3 hours over the magnetic connector. Runtime depends on how often the collar prompts your dog and on GPS signal conditions.
04Will it work in the EU?
Yes. The ZF500V uses beep and vibration only, which is why it is the model we recommend for the EU. The static-option ZF550 is not sold in the EU because of local regulations.
05What size dog does it fit?
Necks from 8 to 26 in (20–66 cm) and dogs from 10 to 110 lb (4.5–50 kg), aged 5 months and up.
06Is it waterproof?
The manufacturer has not published an IP rating for this model, so we do not claim one. Keep the receiver out of prolonged submersion.
